Border Model 1/32 Avro Lancaster B.MK.I/III with Full Interior

Having acquired the former WingNut Wings moulds for this kit, Border Model spent the next year tweaking, testing, and fixing - producing this spectacular model kit of an RAF icon!

The Avro Lancaster is perhaps the best-known of the British WW2 heavy bombers, and was an enormously significant part of the Allies' night bombing offensives of the era. In modified form, Lancasters also made some of the more noteworthy specialised heavy bombing attacks of the war, including the dambusters raid, and finally sinking the Tirpitz.

This impressive, and highly detailed model kit - which should not be approached lightly - can be built to recreate either of the two (largely indistinguishable) main 'workhorse' versions of the Lanc - the B Mk I, or the B Mk III (arguably, the latter is more accurate if the Merlins are Packards). Fitted with FN20 turret.
